Lenzerhide turned out to be a real shoot out for the top spot, there was some seriously nail biting racing as rider after rider crossed the finish line. The Swiss race was a mixed bag of results for Burgtec riders.
Thibaut Daprela continues his strong season piloting his Burgtec Direct Mount stem into 3rd
Danny Hart narrowly missed out on a podium again. He was pushed out to 6th.
Antionie Pierron landed just inside the top 30. The Commencal Nobl rider closed out the weekend in 28th.
Great result for Pau Menoyo Busquets after qualifying first he finished 2nd on finals day and was absolutely stoked!
Angel Suarez had a predictably solid result finishing in 13th. Can he break that top 10 in Snowshoe or even ride his way onto the podium for the final rounds?
Luca Shaw looked his usual smooth self all weekend (plus possibly the baddest whip?). But was cruelly taken out in his final run. Luckily he got back up unscathed, although that was the end of his race.
Greg Minnaar battled back pain to finish 19th. After the high of World Champs, to be struck down with injury is a cruel twist of fate. He slips down to 6th in the overall.
All thoughts now turn to Snowshoe USA for the penultimate and final round of the World Cup season. With all to play for it looks like it’s going to be one hell of a weekend's racing!
