What a race! Whistler waited a long time to have their World Cup, and today they poured their passion into it. Fans lined the track from early in the morning, and the support never stopped.

Cassy kicked things off with another super performance to take P2 in the junior women’s race. To tackle a track like this with limited racing experience is so impressive. She rode with skill and strength, poise and professionalism all week and was rewarded with another podium place.

Pompon described this week as the hardest race of her career. Physically brutal and mentally testing, this track pushed the limits. Pomp fought for a P8 and can be proud of this process.

Onto the elite men’s race and the finish bowl was completely surrounded by a sea of people that stretched high up onto the hill.
Loris put together a solid P19 run but couldn’t find the attack needed for this monster of a track.

Till backed up his strong quali with another top ten race run, slotting into P7, just 1.5 seconds off the top three.

That third spot went to Momo who found the fire and the flow today. After a couple of really disappointing results, this was much-needed and well-deserved.

Max was the penultimate rider to start, and he absolutely lit up 1199, sending the splits green with insane speed and his usual style. Momo was there with a big grin to greet him at the finish line and hand over the hot seat.
Asa Vermette bumped Max and Momo down to P2 and P3 with an incredible run, but it was all smiles in the Riding Addiction camp; putting two riders on the elite men’s podium is a rare and remarkable achievement.
