Vero Sandler came to us looking for a grip that wasn’t on the market….

Built the same way she builds a line, feature by feature, the Vero Pro Grip was developed around everything she’d learnt from years of riding.

Every detail had a purpose. Every compromise was questioned.

One thing was decided from the start: it had to be a push-on grip.

Vero’s favourite grips had always been push-ons, and she wanted the feel, simplicity and comfort that only a push-on can deliver.

The 31mm profile uses a repeating pattern that feels consistent no matter where you grab it.

Through countless rounds of testing and refinement, Vero developed a pattern that delivers dependable traction in all conditions, with enough squidge to stay comfortable without ever feeling vague when it’s time to pull hard and catch a landing.

Vero performs a no hander trick

The pattern is only half the story.

The other half is a custom rubber compound that delivers a tacky, locked-in feel from the first ride, combining comfort, grip and durability in equal measure.

One of Vero’s long-standing frustrations was dirt finding its way beneath the grip after crashes and slams on mulch jumps. To solve it, we developed an integrated dirt gasket that seals against the handlebar when the end plug is installed, helping keep dirt and moisture out

We also knew riders would want options.

A dedicated groove next to the flange allows it to be removed cleanly or used as a guide for safety wire. A subtle relief under the thumb reduces pressure on long days in the sesh.

The finishing touch is the end cap. Protected by an overhanging lip and constructed from high-durometer rubber rather than plastic, it’s designed to resist impacts, slide smoothly and avoid snagging on clothing.

Q & A with Vero:
How involved in the process were you?
I was as involved as I could be! From the initial meeting where we came up with the design and specifics, to testing all renditions of the grips, more meetings to make changes and pick colours, as well as designing the packaging, I loved working with the crew and bringing this awesome collab to life.
Why did you design the grip the way you did?
I’ve used a lot of different grips throughout the years, but I’ve never felt like I found the perfect one. I like to use the same grip on all of my bikes, so it had to be something that worked great on a freeride bike, but perform well for other styles of riding and in all weather conditions.
I took all of the positive aspects of grips I’ve used in the past and put them all together to make, in my opinion, the perfect one!
Where did you test the grip?
Everywhere! From world class freeride events such as Rampage and Darkfest, to riding local skateparks at home and e bikes in the winter slop, the grips have seen heavy use in all conditions.
What inspired the colour choices?
We wanted to have something for everyone with the colour options!
The more neutral and dark tones really caught my eye when I first saw those options.. they are unique shades of their respective colours and I LOVE how they came out.
